- Gee, a lot of pennies being tossed in here...
- One of the things I dislike most about the CD-ROM shareware
- collections is that people WILL assume that they've paid for the
- programs' use. I've done some research on this. Spending ANY money
- registers in their minds as "payment." The CD presser gets the cash on
- the barrel head, and is often the only person who does.
- On the other hand, who am I to argue with success? I know it'd be an
- ego-boo to be on the next AMUG collection! Y'know, I think that most
- programmers who write shareware and freeware are more in it for that than
- any real remuneration. (Still, LifeKeeper is earning me a Japanese M:tG
- booster pack!)
- Also remember that some of you are getting huffy about being asked to
- pay five or ten bucks. Let's not be TOO petty, shall we?
